Thorn Busch Basic Rules 2008 - 2009

1)  All markers must be set around 260-280 FPS (Feet Per Second)

2)  BBD (Barrel Blocking Devices) must be on markers at all time while off the field of play or while inside a Mask Off Station. Markers can
only be fired on the field or at the chrono range.

3)  Marker safeties must be on at all time when not on the field of play.

4)  Masks must be worn at all times when on the field of play. You do not have to wear a mask when inside a Mask Off Station.

5)  When you get shot with a paintball that breaks on impact (must be at least a quarter size), you are eliminated and must go to a Mask
Off Station. Eliminated players in the Mask Off Station can leave at every 15 minutes per the game clock; Quarter Hour(1:15), Half Hour(1:
30), Quarter Till(1:45), and Full Hour(2:00). This means If you enter the station at 1:27, you can leave at 1:30. All breaks count. At night all
hits count, even if the paint does not break. As soon as you are eliminated, stick your hand/marker way up in the air for everyone to see
and yell "HIT!" while you put your BBD on your marker to show people that you are eliminated.

6)  Overshooting is not tolerated. Overshooting is when a player is continuing to excessively shoot someone after a paintball has already
broken on the enemy player/eliminated the person. If you use full auto or ramping and can not stop yourself from overshooting someone,
you will be asked to use semi auto for the remainder of the game.

7)  If you are eliminated and there is a medic present, you have the choice to call out for him/her. The medic has approximately 1 minute
to reach you. After 1 minute is up you must walk to the mask off station. When you are hit and waiting for a medic to come, you can not
move. You must stay where you got shot until the medic comes. Medics can not heal head or torso shots, only limbs, guns, and gear.

8)  If you get a paint grenade thrown at you and you get any paint, even a little spec on yourself, you are eliminated. No grenades are
allowed at night. Trip mines must have breakable trip wire. You are not permitted to actually trip people with these.

9)  When you are eliminated, you may not talk to fellow team mates through a radio.

10)  If you are closer than 20ft from an enemy player, you should ask him/her to surrender. The enemy then has the option to surrender or
to turn and shoot at you. If an enemy soldier surrenders, he/she must stay surrendered and must walked to the Mask Off Station because
he/she has been eliminated.

11)  If you are barrel tagged, you are eliminated and must walk to the Mask Off Station.

12)  Any and all decisions made by a referee is final and must be followed. No exceptions. Arguing with referees is not allowed. If there is
any controversy about a call that a ref made, talk about it with Scott or Ray Busch after that mission/game. There will be no
debating/arguing about a call in the middle of a mission.

13)  You cannot go over or under the boundary lines. If there is a tree spray painted with white paint, a fence, or colored flagging tape, do
not go past it. There is only one entrance/exit to the field and that is at the gate.

14)  You may not listen to the other team’s radio frequency. You can only use and listen to the channels that your team is using.

15)  No switching sides. Arm band tape must be warn at all times and can not be covered by clothing.

16)  All Envelope Missions will begin with the teams starting at their Command Posts. All Starting missions will begin with the teams
starting in the specific specified areas.

18)  Tanks and pillboxes can only be eliminated by being hit by a special paintball from an anti-tank/pillbox weapon.

19)  No physical contact/fighting or wrestling. Be sportsman like. Do not cuss or cheat. Everyone is on the honor system

20)  No drugs or alcohol allowed on the premises.
